The owners found Eastbound through word-of-mouth referral. Whilst the owners worked at a household known volume builder, they opted for Eastbound for its personal touch and detail to attention. This was their new wedding home, and they had a specific vision that required a high level of flexibility which Eastbound prides itself on.
Whilst many of the elements of the project resembled that of a traditional townhouse; the use of timber-look aluminium battens and tile as cladding to the front façade of the property combined with the concrete finish feature fence creates an understated modern look.
In the bathroom, the finishes composed of in wall, brushed cooper tapware. In the kitchen you will find Fisher and Paykel appliances, Blanco fittings and one hundred percent customised cabinetry to suit the owner’s personal requirements. All the elements of the house are tied together through the centre void that either be admired from ground up or glazed upon from the first-floor overlook with a feature glass balustrade.
The entire building process spanned over 9 months and using Eastbound’s engineered process empowered by cloud-based technology, the clients were kept up to date on every process and were able to easily confirm items through Eastbound’s BuilderTrend system.
